Yoga - Invigorating, yet gentle, exercise of the body
and mind. This Yoga session conducted by Tim McEvitt explores
yoga from several different angles, leaving you feeling fully
refreshed and enlivened in body, mind and soul by the
end.
Our Atma Power Yoga 1
session is suitable for people both with and without previous
Yoga experience.

What is a Class
like?
-
Finally, just
when we feel we could do with a
break, it comes! Lying down flat on
the mat - eyes closed - we begin
yoga nidra as the
music changes to our Atma Yoga
relaxation therapy music. This
music was composed and arranged for
this particular class.

Tim McEvitt joined an ISKCON
spiritual ashram as a student monk
in 1993. He studied bhakti-yoga,
hatha-yoga, meditation and Eastern
philosophy in the temple for
10 years, 8 of which were on the
lake island of Inis Rath in
Fermanagh. In 2004 he married
Champakalata Devi Dasi, herself a
temple resident in Panama from the
tender age of 15.
In 2005 the couple founded
Lake Isle Retreats, an
initiative that hosts Yoga,
meditation and spiritual
retreats on Inis Rath. Tim is
a director of the
registered
charities, ISKCON Ireland
Ltd. and ISKCON Northern
Ireland Ltd.
As he's writing this text,
he's a bit shy to say some
elaborate self-glorificatory
words, but he occasionally
hears some people mention that
he's an okay kind of guy. Even
nice sometimes!

Things
to Bring to Yoga / Things to Do or not
do
1. You'll need suitable clothing i.e.
clothes that you can move your limbs in. Tightly fitting jeans
won't work so well.
2. We recommend that you do not eat
anything for at least two hours before the yoga
class.
3. We supply yoga mats, in case you
don't have one. If you have your own, you are welcome to bring
it. It is actually our preference that you bring your own,
however we don't think there's any need for you to go to the
trouble to buy one, unless you're sure you'll use it
regularly.
4. Remember: After the Yoga class you
are welcome to stay for the Kirtan-Yoga i.e. sacred chant
music. This class is available for a donation. As you've paid
for the Yoga, you are not obliged to pay extra for the Kirtan
i.e. it's FREE for you. Obviously, however, we won't hold you
back if you're enthused to throw some coins or notes into the
box.
